National Geographic ChannelJapan s Kansai Airport is one of the greatest engineering achievement in the world, build entirely on a man-made island the size of Monaco. Located 3 miles off the coast of Japan, the airport boasts three big World-Class achievements; the longest 2-story bridge; and the largest single-room building. It also has all the operational problems of a normal International Airport, and has to contend with the typhoons and earthquakes, and if those weren’t enough, the island is sinking.
